Are you interested in commissioning a portrait of your pet? I would love to paint them for you! And I don’t just paint dogs- I am equally happy to paint your cat, rat, parrot, snake, lizard or any other wonderful creature in your care!

For commissions, I will generally work from my client’s photographs. I use the highest quality pigments on archival paper so you can be assured that the painting will last. Below are some tips on how to get the best photo of your pet.

• Take the photo in good light. Natural light is best for accurate colour representation so ideally this will be outside or near to a window.
• Get down to eye level with your pet. Pictures looking down on an animal rarely work so well.
• Think about the background (if you would like one included). For example, a favourite place, or comfy chair they like to sit in is ideal. Does this show a part of your pets’ personality?

I require 50% of the fee upfront to secure your booking slot and cover materials. The remaining 50% of the balance will be required on completion of the painting, after you have agreed that you are happy with the final painting.
